QA Automation Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Architect to lead our organization's

automation testing efforts and drive the adoption of automation best practices across our software

development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, test

automation, and quality assurance methodologies, with a proven track record of designing and

implementing scalable, efficient, and maintainable automation frameworks. The QA Automation

Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess testing requirements, design

automation solutions, and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation testing frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to streamline and optimize our software testing processes.

• Assess existing testing processes, tools, and frameworks to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement.

• Define and enforce automation testing standards, guidelines, and coding conventions to ensure consistency, reliability, and maintainability across automation scripts.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automation testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, test suites, and test data sets to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.

• Identify and prioritize test scenarios for automation based on risk analysis, business impact, and frequency of use.

• Implement and maintain automation infrastructure, including test environments, tools, and frameworks, to support automated testing activities.

• Monitor and analyze test results and metrics to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define test automation strategy, goals, and success criteria, and provide regular updates on progress and achievements.

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to automation testers and cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Architect or similar role, with a deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.

• Hands-on experience with programming languages commonly used in automation testing, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and services, such as AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs, or BrowserStack.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software systems and design effective automation solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Good to have:

• Experience on AccelQ Automation tool with at least 2 years of experience on Web, Mobile and Desktop versions.
