About the Role

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C# for Desktop applications.

  • Design, implement, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of web-based software products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, quality assurance engineers, and product managers to identify test requirements and implement effective testing strategies.

  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

  • Analyze test results and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation frameworks, tools, and processes.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to web automation and software testing.

Requirements

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

  • 5 – 8 years of experience in software development or quality assurance with a focus on test automation

  • Proficiency in C# programming language with strong object-oriented programming skills.

  • Hands-on experience with web automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, or similar.

  • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualification:


  • Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices and tools.

  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices

  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment

  • Hybrid Working Model. Three days at the client office. 2 days in the VVDN GGN office.
