About the Role
Oversee and Manage the activities in the Finance Dept and support head office in all areas of Finance and Accounting
Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
Very good knowledge in the accounting concepts and journal entries, specifically Accrual, Prepaid, WIP accounts and other Balance Sheet accounts.
Excellent understanding of tasks and ability to learn the skills related to the business
Responsible to send Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly Status to Corporate Office based in USA with support schedules
Responsible to finalize the books of accounts and present financial reports to the Management team within the deadlines
Other Projects and Tasks as needed.
Review and validate all control reconciliations in the accounts, Review monthly reports and implement monthly variance reports.
Define, measure and analyze KPI for all Team Members
Skillfully communicate with Vendors and Customers as necessary
Very good team player with good inter-personnel skills to mentor, guide and motivate the team
Very good all round communication skills
Requirements
Qualification requirement:
B. Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, CA preferred
Professional Experience:
Minimum 10 – 15 years of experience in the supervisory level in accounting & finance department.
Freight Forwarding preferred
Additional Requirement:
Experience from high volume or transaction oriented business
Very good knowledge on all the modules in the ERP software.
Excellent hands-on experience on analyzing in excel data not only limited to using pivot tables and VLOOKUP but need to have excellent knowledge on data validation, queries and other functional formulas in excel.
Good knowledge on MS Office.
