Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Lead technical design for key features and systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
Write and review technical design proposals and implementation plans.
Act as the primary engineering point of contact for the squad, aligning with product, data, QA, and stakeholders.
Hands-On Development
Contribute significant hands-on code across ASP.NET Core, C#, React, React Native, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
Develop and integrate frontend and mobile features in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
Work with SQL Server for data modeling, querying, and optimisation.
Delivery & Team Enablement
Facilitate sprint planning, estimation, and execution in partnership with product management.
Provide day-to-day technical guidance and mentoring, setting best practices for code quality and testing.
Drive strong testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
DevOps, Cloud & Security
Partner with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy and operate services on Microsoft Azure and/or GCP.
Support monitoring, incident response, and production stability.
Implement robust authentication, authorization, and data protection patterns across applications and APIs.
Continuous Improvement
Improve team workflows, tooling, and documentation.
Maintain API specifications using OpenAPI / Swagger.
Stay current with modern frontend and backend technologies and share learnings with the team.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in full-stack application development.
Strong hands-on expertise in ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and C#.
Experience with React JS and React Native for web and mobile development.
Proven experience designing and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
Strong experience with SQL Server.
Experience leading technical design and mentoring engineers.
Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional product teams.
Good to Have
Experience building or scaling consumer-facing digital platforms.
Exposure to real-time data or performance-driven applications.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Background in sports-tech, fitness, or data-driven products.
