About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting activities, ensure statutory compliance, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. The role requires strong hands-on experience in general accounting, reconciliations, taxation, and financial reporting, particularly within the freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts including vouchers, journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and systematically.
Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments.
Prepare customer invoices and follow up on collections.
Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Assist with payroll processing and related activities.
Support internal and external audits.
Prepare AR/AP reports and financial dashboards.
Perform ledger reconciliations and job profitability analysis.
Process documentation for overseas payments.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Hands-on experience with GST and TDS compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or freight-specific accounting systems.
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry with exposure to general accounting.
Qualifications
B.Com / MBA (Preferred).
