Backend Python Developer

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Python with frameworks like FastAPI

• RESTful API development and integration

• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub for version control

• Asynchronous programming and tools like Celery, RabbitMQ, WebSockets

• Basic knowledge of OAuth, authentication & authorization practices

• Experience in backend security, optimization, and performance tuning

• Understanding of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development workflows

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend APIs and services

• Design and build scalable, secure backend architectures

• Optimize application performance and database queries

• Integrate third-party services and APIs

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product managers

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers

• Maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code

• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, AWS deployments, and containerization

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently

Good to Have:

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda, and serverless architecture

• Familiarity with Heroku and deployment strategies

• Exposure to microservices architecture

• Hands-on experience with performance monitoring and logging tools

• Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on backend trends and tools
