Mobile Automation Java SDET

We are looking for a highly skilled Java SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with expertise in mobile automation and strong hands-on experience in Java programming. This role demands a proactive test engineer who can contribute to quality assurance in a fast-paced Agile environment. You’ll be responsible for developing robust test automation frameworks, ensuring full test coverage, participating in agile ceremonies, and collaborating closely with developers and QA engineers. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

Must-Have Skills:

• Core Java, OOPs principles, and Java coding

• SQL and JDBC for database interaction

• Agile methodology and participation in ceremonies

• Experience with Git (version control)

• Build tools like Maven or Gradle

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to scope and estimate automation efforts

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Java

• Contribute to planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives

• Scope automation tasks for each sprint and ensure test coverage

• Detect and log bugs with clarity, follow through with developers to resolution

• Work collaboratively in a cross-functional Agile team

• Write clean, scalable, and reusable test code

• Ensure testing is a core part of the development lifecycle

Good to Have:

• Experience in mobile automation tools (Appium, etc.)

• Familiarity with CI/CD environments

• Knowledge of REST APIs and automation around API testing

• Exposure to cloud/mobile device testing platforms

• Passion for quality and test-driven development (TDD/BDD)
